Hewlett-Packard / HP has announced printer driver support for OS X Lion, Apple’s new operating system for the Mac. The firm says it worked with Apple to provide Mac users with support for more than 1,300 HP peripherals, as well as and scan-driver support for most of its newer All-in-Ones.
For Mac users upgrading to Lion, current HP drivers will continue to work. Users with a new Mac running Lion can automatically download HP’s latest print, scan and utility software through Apple Software Update. More information is available here and here.
